As the lead designer for John Lewis's technology department, I create the online editorials, as well as working closely with the photography studio and printed magazine. We collaborate to launch this seasonal magazine, alonside its tablet app, to promote our in-house style.
The imagery is always gorgeous, and with some great content, we really help show off these products in a different light. With the photography, I could then design & build a responsive set of articles, which both sold the products & told a story. Crucial to John Lewis, was to keep everything on brand, and aim to become the home of tech. Spacing, fonts & even colour schemes, needed to be of the highest quality, suitable for the UK's leading retailer, and what a customer would expect of us.
