Du

I was contracted to work with Du, the leading telecoms giant in Dubai & the UAE. My role was to lead the service part of their products which was included the mobile/desktop app and internal store tablets for staff.

As part of the secondment I went out to Dubai to work at Du for a short period, to understand the culture and user experience in stores, and challenges with multiple languages required on the apps.

The squad worked in a pre-planned routine, with weekly workshops dedicated on roadmaps, process maps, UX and then UI, ensuring that development time was reduced and delivery was always on track.

Step 1 was an agreed way of working with the squad and roadmapping

Step 2 was agreed process maps aligning both user experience, backend and operational support

Step 3 was detailed prototypes and Wireframing sessions to ensure all needs were met and technically feasible

Step 4 was to provide detailed UI for developer handover.
