Action required a full website redesign, with emphasis on being mobile friendly and multilingual. This provided many challenges, considering the language changes meant that many words could dramatically change in character length.
They were keen to stick to the limited colour range of blue and orange which wasn’t ideal with plenty of calls to action being required.
Another huge feature of the site was the search function, which had to display products, store & blog posts at the same time. The site also had a weekly rotating stock due to their in-store collections being far too large to show online.
This was a very enjoyable project as it really threw up some challenges which we are not used to with UK retailers, especially with the multiple languages. There needed to be carefully thought out spacing to allow these changes, and also font sizes which would suit a mobile view with long words.
